Experience Italy in Central Park with five miles to celebrate the Festa della Repubblica. This new event will bring a touch of green, white, and red to the heart of New York City. Bring your friends and family to join NYRR and Ferrero as we experience some of Italy’s newest innovations and tastiest treats.
Event hashtag: #ItalyRunNYC—use it in your tweets, Instagrams, and Facebook posts!
The American-Italian Cancer Foundation (AICF) is a New York-based nonprofit organization supporting cancer research and promoting breast cancer early detection.
AICF awards post-doc research fellowships to Italian scientists conducting research in the United States and operates a Mobile Care Clinic providing no cost mammograms and clinical breast exams to medically underserved NYC women.
Runners can support the American-Italian Cancer Foundation by making a donation during registration or by visiting the AICF web site.
Live unofficial results are available during the race at liveresults.nyrr.org and in the NYRR app. Features include leaderboards, map tracking, and an individual runner search that can be shared on Facebook and Twitter. Tell your friends and family to follow your progress, and because the system works great on mobile devices, you can get unofficial results right after the race!
Bring the whole family out with our Rising New York Road Runners at the Italy Run by Ferrero. Entry is free for all participants and activities begin at 9:30 a.m.
